As part of Virginia Historic Garden Week, the Garden Club of Norfolk and the Harborfront Garden Club have included six of Old Dominion University's campus gardens on their tour.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 300 to 600 people to visit the gardens.

By showing a valid campus ID, Old Dominion faculty, staff and students can take a self-guided tour at no cost. Tour maps will be available Thursday at Webb Center in the Hampton/Newport News Room. Donations will be accepted with proceeds from the tour going to restoration and preservation of Historic Gardens within Virginia.

The campus gardens are one of many Norfolk sites featured as part of the annual tour, tickets for the complete tour are $18 or $7 for a single site. The full tour schedule is available in the Hampton/Newport News Room. For more information on tickets, call Mrs. Richard Diamonstein at 440-8342.

A buffet lunch will be offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $10 and reservations can be made through the catering office.
