Sheri Reynolds will perform a reading and signing of her new novel, "Firefly Cloak," at Prince Books at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25.

Set in the rich coastal South, "Firefly Cloak" is one family's haunting story of redemption. Three generations of women piece together their fragmented past of betrayal and failure into an unbreakable connection through love and forgiveness.

Sheri Reynolds is an associate professor and the Ruth and Perry Morgan Chair of Southern Literature at Old Dominion University. She won the Outstanding Faculty Award from the State Council for Higher Education of Virginia in 2003.

Reynolds' previous novels are "Bitterroot Landing," "A Gracious Plenty" and "The Rapture of Canaan," which became an Oprah book club selection and New York Times bestseller.

Prince Books is located at 109 E. Main Street in Norfolk. For further information call 622-9223 or visit Prince Books website at www.princebooks.com.
