2004 RELAY FOR LIFE THE BEST EVER

Old Dominion University's Relay for Life Friday and Saturday raised a record $39,000 for the fight against cancer.

Approximately $1,000 was raised on Wednesday, Dollar Day, and more than 60 teams registered to walk in the actual relay, which began Friday night. The relay team from Pi Beta Phi raised the most money and the Residence Life team was voted the most spirited.

Late donations also are being accepted at the Campus Information Center in Webb University Center. Further feedback on the event can be addressed to dthorpe@odu.edu.
