PRESIDENT KOCH TO KEYNOTE FINAL ECONOMICS CLUB LUNCHEON TODAY
Old Dominion University President James V. Koch will discuss the economics of the Internet at the Old Dominion Economics Club of Hampton Roads luncheon Tuesday, May 1.
Co-sponsored by the university's College of Business and Public Administration, the luncheon will begin at noon at the Sheraton Waterside Hotel in downtown Norfolk. Due to limited space, reservations are required. The cost of the luncheon is $30 for nonmembers.
Koch, who has served as president at Old Dominion since 1990, will step down July 1 and, after a year's sabbatical, return to teach in the business colllege. Instrumental in the creation of the university's new e-commerce degree programs, Koch has conducted research on the economics of the Internet and teaches a course on the topic.
The May luncheon will be the final meeting of the Economics Club for 2000-01. For more information or to make reservations, call Martha Anderson at 683-4058.
