YETIV INTERVIEWED BY VOICE OF AMERICA ON MIDEAST VIOLENCE
Steve Yetiv, associate professor of political science at Old Dominion University, is featured today in a Voice of America story on Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and the recent surge of mideast violence. The report will run throughout the day on Voice of America's worldwide radio network.
Yetiv, an expert in Middle East politics and American foreign policy, comments in "Wither Sharon" that the prime minister is controversial but that he is the right man at the right time during this breakdown in the peace process. He adds that Sharon is an interim figure, but a crucial one.
