Mark Pullen of George Mason University will present and demonstrate Network EducationWare (NEW) from 2-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, in the VR Theater in Engineering and Computational Sciences Building at Old Dominion University.

NEW, which has been developed through Pullen's work, recently won an international competition for non-commercial software. It enables asynchronous delivery to a student's desktop at home or office via Internet connections. It also records classes for later playback. NEW has been used at ODU for online modeling and simulation courses, and also to make a presentation in Singapore.

A second demonstration will take place at 4 p.m. in the Mediated Conference Room at the Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center (VMASC) in Suffolk.

For more information, go to http://netlab.gmu.edu/NEW or call 683-6200.
