A 25th-anniversary celebration for Dennis Zeisler, associate professor of music and chair of the music department at Old Dominion University, will follow a concert by the Old Dominion University Wind Ensemble, under Zeisler's direction, at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 24, in the atrium of the Diehn Fine and Performing Arts Center.

A commemorative piece of music, "Mozart Variations" by composer James Sochinski, will be premiered. The piece was commissioned by ODU alumni, members of the ODU community and the faculty of ODU's music department and the College of Arts and Letters, as well as a consortium of local public schools.

A reception follows the concert. Both are free and open to the public. For more information, call Sharon or Frank Garcia at 423-8931 or the ODU music department at 683-4061.
