The Old Dominion University student group In Support of Children, The Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters (CHKD), Prevent Child Abuse Hampton Roads and the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice ODU Chapter are sponsoring two events on Thursday, April 22, featuring Brian Post, nationally recognized expert on family dynamics and child discipline.

From 1-4 p.m. at CHKD's Brickhouse Auditorium, Post wiill present a workshop titled "When Beauty Becomes the Beast: Working with Traumatized Children."

From 7-9 p.m. in room 104 of ODU's Batten Arts and Letters Building, Post will present a workshop, "Discipline: What Works, What Doesn't and Why: Revolutionary New Strategies for Raising Children."
