Steve A. Yetiv, associate professor of political science at Old Dominion University and an expert on Middle Eastern affairs, was quoted in a news item Tuesday on the international broadcast news outlet Voice of America.

The story, about the upsurge in violence in Iraq and the threat the Shiite and Sunni militants pose to the U.S. and coalition forces, aired Tuesday.
