LECTURE ON DOMESTIC DEMOCRACY IN SOUTH AFRICA IS TODAY
The Old Dominion University Institute of Humanities will sponsor the lecture "Domestic Democracy: At Home in South Africa" by Jennifer Fish, lecturer of women's studies, on Thursday, April 12 at 5 p.m. in room 9024 of Batten Arts and Letters.
The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will explore social relations since the end of apartheid. Fish will outline both the progress and ongoing limitations of gender rights within South Africa's new democracy.
