ETIQUETTE DINNER TO BE HELD TONIGHT
Graduating students may have the necessary book smarts but might lack knowledge of the business world's unwritten rules. To show students why table manners are serious business, the Old Dominion University Career Management Center will host an etiquette dinner for students on Monday, April 10, from 5-7 p.m. in the Hampton Newport News Room of Webb Center.
This event, sponsored by Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, GEICO, Target, and The Virginian Pilot, will teach students how to dine in a professional setting.
Professional greetings, handshaking and business conversation will be topics of discussion for the dinner. The event is also an opportunity for prospective employers to interact with a candidate in a social situation.
Business attire is required and the cost for attendees is $5.00.
