NOTE CARDS ON SALE FEATURE OCEANOGRAPHERS' PHOTOS

Note cards featuring the photomicrographs of oceanographers Lisa Drake and Martina Doblin are on sale through the Office of Development at Old Dominion University.

Officials also hope to have them on sale soon at the university bookstore. The sets of 10 cards, featuring a variety of colorful images of microscopic creatures and a brief description of each, are $10.

The project was financed through a Faculty Research Award and proceeds will help repay the funds used to print the cards, said Lisa D. Murray of the university's development office.

The cards were produced with the support of the Old Dominion Research Foundation in conjunction with the departments of Art and Ocean, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, the College of Arts and Letters and the College of Sciences.
