Over 200 schoolchildren from the Peninsula and South Hampton Roads will come to Old Dominion University's Norfolk campus to participate in the 55th annual Tidewater Science Fair, Saturday, March 25.

Opening ceremonies will be at 8:30 a.m. in the North Cafeteria of Webb University Center. Awards will be distributed at 1:30 p.m. in the same location. Student displays are open to the public from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Students will show off projects in subjects including chemistry and computer science and judges in the 15 categories and a wide variety of professional organizations, including the American Chemical Society, will present awards.

All senior-division first-, second- and third-place winners advance to the Virginia State Science and Engineering Fair at Randolph-Macon College in April 7-8.
