The popular hip-hop group Outkast, whose CD "Stankonia" is certified three-times platinum and still rising, will play at Old Dominion University's Foreman Field Sunday, April 22. Gates will open at 4 p.m. and the music will kick off at 5 p.m.

Sponsored by Old Dominion's Student Activities Council and Office of Student Activities and Leadership, the concert is produced by Whisper Entertainment.

Tickets are available through Old Dominion's Campus Information Center in Webb University Center, the university's Athletic Ticket office and TicketMaster. The cost for students with university ID is $18 in advance for pit seating, $14 in advance for general seating and $18 at the door. Tickets for the general public are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Well-known for their current hit single "Miss Jackson," the Arista recording artists had a 1998 release, "Aquemini," that sold more than 2 million copies in the United States. It includes the hit single "Rosa Parks." The CD scored an "A" in Entertainment Weekly, ranked 35 on Spin magazine's "90 Greatest Albums of the '90s" list, and was awarded four stars by Rolling Stone magazine.
