ODU MONARCHS MOVE FORWARD IN THE NIT

The Old Dominion University Monarchs have advanced to the second round of the NIT tournament and will play the winner of Saturday's 11 a.m. (March 18) Manhattan vs. Maryland game on Monday night.

If Manhattan defeats Maryland, the game will be played Monday night at the Constant Center (time TBA), thanks to the cooperation of the NCAA Women's Basketball committee and staff. Tickets will go on sale for the game at 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon at all Ted Tix outlets, by calling 1-888-411-4TED and online at www.constantcenter.com. Tickets are $13 for adults and $5 for ODU students and youth 17 and under.

If Maryland defeats Manhattan, the game will be played in College Park, Md., on Monday night (time TBA) and fans are encouraged to call the Maryland ticket office at 1-800-462-8377) and ask for the ODU section, or order online at www.umterps.com.. Tickets for the game are $25. ODU will sponsor a bus to the game, and reservations must be made by 5 p.m. today (Friday, March 17) by calling CI Travel at 627-8000.
