Women's basketball coach Wendy Larry, along with her players and assistant coaches, will be out in force when the fourth annual Lady Monarch Pride Golf Tournament tees off April 27 at Bide-A-Wee Golf Course in Portsmouth.

The captain's choice event, which costs $100 per individual and $400 per foursome, includes green fees, cart, driving range balls, boxed lunch, dinner and beverages.

Registration begins at 11 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. The awards dinner and auction starts at 5:30. The fee is $25 for those who attend only the awards dinner and auction.

Larry will play one hole with each foursome, and ESPN 1310's Tony Mercurio will be on hand to broadcast from the course.

Proceeds from the tournament, sponsored by Scott and Stringfellow Inc., will benefit the women's basketball program. To register, call Mark Benson at 683-5696. To donate items for the auction, call Judy Bowman at 683-3260.
