ROUNTREE TO SPEAK ON HER NEW BOOK 'POCAHONTAS'
Old Dominion University Professor Emeritus of Anthropology Helen Clark Rountree will talk about her new book "Pocahontas, Powhatan, Opechancanough: Three Indian Lives Changed by Jamestown" at 7 p.m., Monday, March 21, at the Tidewater Community College Roper Performing Arts Center.
A nationally acclaimed specialist in the study of North American Indian Culture, Rountree's discussion will be preceded by a panel discussion titled "Living With the Pocahontas Legend: The Anthropologist and the Indians." A book signing will follow.
