The radio show "HearSay" with Cathy Lewis today at noon on WHRO-FM 89.5 will include a discussion with Nancy Bagranoff, dean of the college of business and public administration at Old Dominion University. The program entitled, "The 'T' Word," will discuss taxes and personal finance.

Before coming to ODU in 2003, Bagranoff was a professor of accountancy at Miami University of Ohio where she also served as director of the master of accountancy program from 1999 to 2002. With more than 20 years of academic experience, Bagranoff has also taught at American University, where she served as chair of the Department of Accounting, and George Mason, George Washington and Virginia Commonwealth universities.

Her teaching accomplishments have been recognized with the Outstanding Educator Award from the American University Cap and Gown Honor Society, an American University Award for Outstanding Teaching and a Kogod College of Business Administration Award for Outstanding Teaching.

Bagranoff received her bachelor's degree in marketing from Ohio State University, master's in accounting from Syracuse University and a doctorate in accounting and information systems from George Washington University.
