ODU STUDENTS COHOST FIRST FUN-N-FIT HEALTH EXTRAVAGANZA SATURDAY

Old Dominion University marketing students, under the leadership of marketing instructor Ateba Crocker, and the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame will host the first Fun-N-Fit Health Extravaganza at the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 8.

Designed to educate parents and children about ways to enhance physical fitness and health, the event will feature clinics, nutritionists and fun activities. Those who attend can also visit the facility's educational sports exhibits and have a chance to win a variety of prizes.

The Virginia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, located in downtown Portsmouth, honors 208 athletes from the state.

Admission to the event is $6 per person; children under 4 are admitted free. For more information call 683-5777.
