M'hammed Abdous, director of the Center for Learning Technologies at Old Dominion University, has been selected to receive a Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education (SITE) 2006 Outstanding Paper Award from the Association for Advancement in Computing Education (AACE). The award will be presented at the annual SITE international conference March 20 in Orlando, Fla.

The paper, titled "A Learner-Centered Online Syllabus Generator System," was reviewed and selected by both a program committee and program chairs.

After the conference, the paper will be archived in the Digital Library for Information and Technology and Education, a Web resource that contains peer-reviewed and published articles and papers relating to all aspects of educational technology.

The AACE is an international, educational and professional nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching at all levels with information technology. The group's membership includes researchers, professors, administrators, policy decision makers and other specialists involved in information technology, education and industry.
