Glen Sussman, chair of the Department of Political Science and Geography at Old Dominion University, will be a guest on the radio program "With Good Reason" Thursday, March 9.

A showcase for the research and expertise of faculty at Virginia's higher education institutions, "With Good Reason" can he heard in Hampton Roads on WHRV-FM (89.5) at 11:30 a.m. It is also available live on the Web at www.whro.com.

The episode, titled "Big Trees," will feature a discussion of the environment and environmental policy within the commonwealth of Virginia and the nation.

Sussman's research explores the environmental records of recent presidents. His analysis finds party politics matter little, and he ranks Richard Nixon as the country's "greenest" president.
