A public forum on affairs in Iraq will be 12:15-1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24, in Room 102 of the Mills Godwin Jr. Life Sciences Building.

Two years after the first Iraq Forum sponsored by Old Dominion University's Department of Political Science and Geography, speakers from the ODU faculty will discuss democratization in Iraq, as well as the military situation and progress there and the role of the United Nations in reconstruction.

Participants include Kurt Gaubatz, associate professor of political science and international studies; David Earnest, assistant professor of political science and international studies; and Maria Fornella, lecturer in political science and director of ODU's Model United Nations Program.

The moderator will be Glen Sussman, chair and professor of political science.

The forum is free and open to the public and parking is available in Lot 27, located in front of the Health and Physical Education Building on Elkhorn Avenue.
