Faculty, staff and graduate students are invited to attend a hands-on session called "From Download to Data Crunch -- Library and Web Data Resources," at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, in Perry Library.

The Web and CD-ROM have made it easier than ever to create and export data into statistical analysis programs such as Excel, SAS and SPSS. In this workshop, participants will learn about data-intensive electronic library resources and Web sites that make raw data acquisition a snap.

Participants will create customized raw data sets and export them into spreadsheets. Expert help will be available for resources in the health sciences, business and economics, social sciences and hard sciences.

For more information contact Stuart Frazer at sfrazer@odu.edu or 683-5910. Registration is not required.
