GERMAN FILM SERIES CONTINUES MARCH 5

The series "New German Film: Beyond Fascism" continues with a screening of Liliana Cavani's "The Night Porter" (1974) at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, in room 107 of the Diehn Center. It is free to members of the campus community.

This controversial film (in English) details the perverse relationship between a former SS officer from a Nazi concentration camp and a woman who is a former inmate at the camp.

Heidi Schlipphacke, assistant professor of foreign languages and literatures, will introduce the film.
