Jeffrey Bader, director of the China Initiative and senior fellow at the Brookings Institute, will be the guest speaker for the Old Dominion University Economics Club of Hampton Roads luncheon Wednesday, March 22.

Co-sponsored by Old Dominion's College of Business and Public Administration and the World Affairs Council of Hampton Roads, the luncheon will begin at noon at the Norfolk Marriott Waterside Hotel in downtown Norfolk. The cost is $30 for non-members. Due to limited space, reservations are required and can be made by calling 683-4058.

Prior to joining Brookings, Bader enjoyed a 27-year career with roles in the Department of State, National Security Council and office of the United States Trade Representative. In addition, he has served in the following roles: Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, Director of Asian Affairs at the National Security Council and Assistant United States Trade Representative.
