Effective Monday, Feb. 14, multifunctional copy machines equipped with a card reader will be enabled.

The enabling process for over 118 devices will take from Monday through Wednesday. We strongly encourage employees to begin carrying ODU ID cards as of Monday.

To use these devices, employees will swipe their personal ODU identification cards. The ODU ID's are machine-read and permit authorized users to copy. By managing access on a user level, charges can be accurately billed to the appropriate department.

At a later date, users will be able to scan documents, print from the desktop, and direct output to a multifunctional device.

Employees without ODU ID's may obtain one from the University Card Center. For more information on how to obtain a card, contact the Center at 683-3508.

For more information on the devices, visit the Copy Central web page or send an e-mail to copycentral@odu.edu.
