OLD DOMINION OFFERS INTERNATIONAL STUDENT WORKSHOP FEB. 7
Scott E. King, Old Dominion's director of international student and scholar services, will present a workshop on the regulations concerning international students and scholars from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, in the Cape Charles Room of Webb University Center.
The workshop will cover general information on the United States' immigration system with emphasis on student and scholar status, legal ways of employment and special taxation considerations for international students. The outcome of the Sept. 11 attacks will be addressed as well. This workshop will answer questions students may have about how laws affect the academic and social life of students on this campus.
This is a free event and open to the public.
