SPORTS WRITERS DISCUSS THEIR TRADE TONIGHT AT FRIENDS OF LIBRARY EVENT

Local sports writers Jim Ducibella, Bob Molinaro and Paul White will take part in the panel discussion, "Sports Writing: More Than a Game," at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, in the Mills Godwin Jr. Building Auditorium.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, the event is free and open to the public. Free parking will be available in Parking Garage B on 43rd Street.

The panel will debate ethical issues such as giving support to local teams, protecting anonymous sources and giving deferential treatment to young and/or female athletes.
