SESSIONS BEGIN BLACK HISTORY MONTH AT OLD DOMINION
"The Rhythm of African Life," a dance troupe's expression of African culture through music and dance kicks off Old Dominion's observance of black history month at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1., in the South Cafeteria of Webb University Center.
The event is sponsored by the Black Student Alliance
Also Tuesday, black police officers tell their side of the story about "driving while black" from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Hampton/Newport News Room of Webb Center. The event is sponsored by Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. and the NAACP.
