CONVERSATION PARTNERS NEEDED FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Members of the campus community are invited to participate this semester in the Conversation Partner Program.
"Meeting and conversing with international students is a rich experience, and our students would like to mingle with others on campus and practice their English," said Elizabeth Isenkul, a lecturer with the English Language Center. "This is a volunteer experience and there is no financial reward for chatting with a student for an hour a week or so. It is, however, a quick way to join the global community and learn about other cultures, customs and languages."
Application forms are available on the English Language Center bulletin board across from room 300 in the Batten Arts and Letters Building. For more information visit Isenkul in her office, 304 BAL, or contact her at email@example.com.
