TOWN-N-GOWN DINNER TO FEATURE NAVY DEPUTY COMMANDER JAN. 23

Capt. George E. Slaven Jr., Deputy Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic, will be the guest speaker at an Old Dominion University Town-N-Gown dinner Thursday, Jan. 23. Slaven will discuss "The U.S. Navy and Hampton Roads Today."

The event will begin with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and the program at 6:30 p.m. in the Hampton/Newport News Room in Webb University Center. Tickets cost $18 per person and reservations are required by calling Wilma Robinson, 489-8438.
