SUFFOLK RESIDENT FINALIST IN WEB CONTEST

Joseph Branton of Suffolk, a senior art major at Old Dominion University, has been chosen as a finalist in a Back-to-School Web design contest sponsored by software manufacturer Macromedia.

Branton's entry, a project for Deviant Skateboards, is viewable on the Web along with the other entries at http://www.macromedia.com/resources/student/campaign/winter_bts/vote.html.

Entries are judged by votes received from online viewers and also by official judges, based on the projects' creativity/ingenuity; design/functionality, theme/content; and technical achievement. Winners will be announced online at http://www.macromedia.com/resources/student.
