Applications are due Friday, Jan. 31, for the 11th NASA Academy for college undergraduate and graduate students in summer 2003.

To date, 365 graduates have completed the academy, of which
about half are now in the active workforce and the other half are pursuing their academic interests.

The NASA Academy is a unique summer institute of higher learning whose goal is to help guide future leaders of the U.S. Space Program. It provides research opportunities in state-of-the-art laboratories coupled with broad-based views into the inner workings of the space program.

Students may apply who have proven to be outstanding with a passion for in-depth studies with NASA research at either Goddard Air and Space Flight Center in Maryland or at the
Astrobiology Lab at NASA-Ames in California.
