RESERVATIONS DUE JAN. 18 FOR TOWN-N-GOWN DINNER
Town-N-Gown, an organization devoted to nurturing the relationship between Old Dominion University, the Hampton Roads community and the military, will host a dinner meeting Jan. 25 to address the role of the Navy in Hampton Roads. Rear Adm. Christopher W. Cole, commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic, will be the speaker.
In his position as commander, Cole is considered the "Navy Mayor of Hampton Roads" and is responsible for several local naval facilities. He also is the Department of Defense Navy regional enviornmental coordinator.
The evening will begin with a reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the program at 7:30 p.m. All activities will be in the Cape Henry North area of Webb University Center. The cost to attend is $16, and reservations are required by Jan. 18. For more information or to register, call 464-2885.
