Bright splattering paint, astounding drum performances, and a variety of unique musical tunes will liven up the Ted Constant Convocation Center as the Blue Man Group performs their world renowned show, "How To Be A Megastar 2.1" at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 2.

Tickets for the show cost $52 and $77 and go on sale Saturday, Jan. 12 at 10 a.m. exclusively though COXTix.com (http://www.coxtix.com), 1-888-3-COXTIX, the Constant Center Box Office, and all Tidewater Sports & Collectibles locations.

With "How To Be A Megastar 2.1," the Blue Man Group embraces the rules, rituals, and raw excitement of that most primal of group experiences: the arena rock concert! This full production tour features state-of-the art concert technology.

Executive Tour Producer Paul J. Emery, III of Emery Entertainment, stated, "The demand for encore performances is far-reaching. We are thrilled to add some additional show elements including innovative new technology such as state-of-the-art video screens; new vocalists and the tour debut of the hit single "Rock and Go!"

Describing the 2008 tour, Emery said, "After ordering a tongue-in-cheek 'how-to' manual on becoming a rock star, Blue Man Group is joined by an eight piece band and subsequently takes us through, step-by-step and song-by-song, every head-bobbing, fist-pumping moment of a real concert with constant hi tech interaction with their audience. The result: a uniquely clever interactive show that delivers hypnotic entertainment for all ages!"

San Francisco-based multimedia artist Mike Relm opens the show with a mix of spins, scratches, music and video clips in a mash-up of pop-culture.

"How To Be A Megastar Tour 2.1" is produced by St. Louis-based Emery Entertainment and Los Angeles-based Pacific Arts Entertainment. The tour kicks off on Jan. 10 and continues through May 4. For more information, visit: www.blueman.com
