CAMPUS WEIGHT WATCHERS GROUP OFFERS HELP WITH ACHIEVING NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION
If your New Year's resolutions included shedding some unwanted pounds, you may want to check out the campus Weight Watchers group, which is holding a sign-up meeting at noon Monday, Jan. 10, in the Suffolk Room of Webb University Center.
The group meets weekly for 14 weeks beginning Monday, Jan. 24. The cost is $125.
As part of a Weight Watchers membership, participants will receive weekly group support; assistance in determining a goal weight that is appropriate; and program materials which explain 123 Success®, the 10% difference and Weight Watchers Tools for Living, which teach how to maintain a positive mental attitude while trying to lose weight.
The program materials also include recipes and motivational tips, a POINTSfinder to calculate the POINTS® in favorite foods, a POINTSbooster to measure activity POINTS, weekly updating of participants' Membership Books with your current weight and attendance, and awards that recognize weight loss achievements.
