HEALTHY-VIRGINIANS CAMPAIGN AT ODU JAN. 27

Gov. Mark Warner has asked state employees to take a personal challenge by joining in our Healthy Virginians initiative, "Virginia on the Move."

We have each been asked to walk an additional 2,000 steps per day and cut back 100 calories every day and to establish a goal to move more and eat less.

To officially participate in this program you must complete the online health assessment and print the Confirmation of Health Assessment Completion form.

On Thursday, Jan. 27, a CommonHealth representative will be on campus to present to everyone who has completed the assessment form a step counter (pedometer). The representative will be in the Athletic Building's Conference Room making a short presentation and accepting your assessment certificates at the following times: 8:30-9 a.m., 9-9:30 a.m., 9:30-10 a.m., 10-10:30 a.m. and 10:30-11 a.m.

If you have not yet signed up, enroll now and get started on the road to better health. Log onto http://www.gethealthytools.com. Click "new user registration" and use key code CommonHealth.

Once you have completed the registration information, you will arrive at the homepage. Click "Health Assessments" to complete the assessment.

Print the confirmation page from your completed health report and bring it to the meeting.
