Journal Cites Article by Business Faculty as Best in 2007
An article written by Theresa Kirchner, Old Dominion University's Edward P. Markowski Professor of Decision Sciences, and John Ford, ODU professor of marketing, recently was chosen as the Best Article for the Year for 2007 by the International Journal of Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Marketing.
The article, titled "Relationships Among Levels of Government Support, Marketing Activities and Financial Health of Nonprofit Performing Arts Organizations," appeared in the journal's May 2007 issue.
Kirchner received her B.S., MBA and Ph.D. from ODU and is currently an assistant professor with Hampton University's School of Business. Ford and Markowski have both been members of the university faculty since 1985.
