Information about in-state tuition rates is also available at the Office of the University Registrar and any off-campus site teaching live or televised courses, as well as from distance learning site directors or the Office of Distance Learning.

The deadline to apply for in-state tuition rates is the first day of classes each semester or summer session. State law prohibits retroactive consideration of residency. Students should begin the classification process at least 21 days before the term but in no case can a request be considered after the first day of classes for a term.
