VIRGINIA CONSORTIUM PROGRAM IN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY

The Department of Psychology participates in a program leading to the degree of Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in clinical psychology.

This program, under the direction of the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology, is a joint venture of the Departments of Psychology at Old Dominion University, the College of William and Mary, Norfolk State University, and the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Eastern Virginia Medical School. The emphasis of the program is on the training of highly skilled clinicians who will work in those areas of society where mental health care needs are not being met by the present system. The program is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association.
