Research Integrity Officer

All members of the ODU community are required to report any suspected scientific misconduct to the Research Integrity Officer either directly or through the Dean of their College. Scientific misconduct includes, but is not limited to, fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism of the research record. All allegations of scientific misconduct will be investigated and maximum possible confidentiality will be maintained.  (All terms are defined in the policy which may be found with the link on this page.)

Reports of misconduct should follow the procedures outlined in BOV policy #1426: Policy, Procedures and Timeline for Responding to Allegations of Misconduct in Scientific Research and Scholarly Activity
