ELIGIBILITY: The applicant must be a female graduate student. ASSE student membership is not required for this award. The applicant must be enrolled in nine graduate level semester hours or more in safety engineering, safety management, occupational health nursing, occupational medicine, risk management, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, fire safety, environmental safety, environmental health, or any other closely related field, and have at least a 3.5 grade point average. Applicants who are currently enrolled to begin a graduate program and have no GPA or transcript yet should submit their official enrollment in a safety-related graduate degree program, make sure they have at least nine graduate credits "in progress", and include their official transcripts from their undergraduate program.
Graduate students are now eligible to receive a second ASSE Foundation scholarship award, if the first ASSE Foundation scholarship award was an undergraduate scholarship. No matter what the circumstance, students will not receive more than two scholarships from the ASSE Foundation.

ELIGIBILITY: The applicant may be citizen of any country and plan to attend an academic institution located in any country. The applicant must have completed a bachelor of science degree or be in the final year, have been accepted for graduate work in engineering management at an accredited graduate school, and have graduated within a minimum overall grade point average of 2.8. Financial need is not required; however, priority will be given to those demonstrating a financial need. The applicant must complete a personal statement with text addressing a proposed advanced academic and post-academic plans.

AMOUNT_NOTE: Up to 6 grants, up to $10,000 each, will be awarded. The grants are flexible and can be used for data collection, travel for field work, or for presentation of findings at meetings, purchase of software, data entry assistance, statistical analysis services, or a combination of these or other similar purposes (but not for stipends or tuition).
ELIGIBILITY: The award is open to individuals in any discipline, including the natural and physical sciences, social and behavioral sciences, specialties in engineering, or interdisciplinary programs such as environmental studies, who are conducting research in hazards, risk, or disasters. Fellowship candidates must be ABD (all but dissertation) at a U.S. institution by the application deadline with an approved dissertation proposal. Non-U.S. citizens may apply as long as the doctorate degree will be granted by a U.S. institution.
