As you’ll see from our Focused Report, Quality Enhancement Plan, and Quality Enhancement Plan and Focused Report materials, Old Dominion University is a thriving multi-cultural university, strategically located in the Hampton Roads area of eastern Virginia. Our active learning environment and diverse academic programs provide access and opportunity to students attending classes on the main Norfolk campus and at 38 off-campus locations around the Commonwealth of Virginia and in two other states. Through an effective and longstanding partnership, the University provides synchronous, site based distance learning at the majority of Virginia community college campuses, at military bases, at its own and other regional higher education centers and at locations in the states of Washington and Arizona. Further, the University is increasing its asynchronous online offerings via a variety of internet based media.
