Sheri Reynolds holds the Ruth and Perry Morgan Chair of Southern Literature at
Old Dominion University, where she teaches creative writing and literature.
Twice awarded the State Council for Higher Education of Virginia Outstanding Faculty Award, Reynolds is also a Virginia Commission for the Arts playwriting grant recipient.
Reynolds' other novels include Bitteroot Landing, The Rapture of Canaan, A Gracious Plenty, Firefly Cloak, and The Sweet In-Between.
