Welcome to the Peninsula Higher Education Center

Old Dominion University's Peninsula Higher Education Center is a state-of-the-art academic facility aligned with the University's Mission to promote the advancement of knowledge.  The Peninsula Center is designed to support a wide array of graduate and undergraduate programs that meet the needs of the local community.  Its location near Thomas Nelson Community College makes it convenient for Peninsula residents transferring to the University for completion of bachelor degrees and for health and other professionals seeking to further their undergraduate and graduate education through the doctorate level.  The Peninsula Center currently offers 24 undergraduate and 25 graduate programs with over 200 classes scheduled each week.  Education programs include teacher licensure, as well as, advanced degrees in instruction and administration.

Old Dominion University's Peninsula Higher Education Center is also home to the Virginia Space Grant Consortium and  the Center for Advanced Engineering Environments.

In addition, the Peninsula Center provides educational and meeting space to local organizations.

The Financial Aid Office will begin a new process for 2011-12 aid year.  Students expecting to receive Financial Aid must activate and review their LEO-ONLINE account regularly.  Why:  The Financial Aid Office will no longer mail award notifications/letters for signature. 2011-12 award notifications/offers will be posted for acceptance via LEO-ONLINE.   Failure to review and accept financial aid offers via LEO-ONLINE may result in cancellation of your Federal and/or State award.
