The Honorary Degree Committee reviews nominations for honorary degrees and makes recommendations to the President.

University Athletics Committee
The University Athletics Committee advises the President on all matters related to intercollegiate athletics.  Its areas of responsibilities include: (1) review of current athletic procedures, policies, practices, and results; (2) recommendation of changes related to the scope and quality of the total athletics program; (3) proposal of new policies or changes in existing policies that affect athletic programs; and (4) advice in areas such as the philosophy, goals, and priorities of the athletics program; high-level athletics personnel appointment; and other areas requested by the President.

The objectives of the Graduate Administrators Council are to: 1) Review current University standards, rules and procedures governing graduate education and make recommendations to strengthen and simplify these standards, rules and procedures; 2)Review the Graduate Catalog, identify areas that need clarification or consistency, and make recommendations for revisions; and 3) Assess resources and space needs for graduate training and research and make recommendations.

Undergraduate Student Academic Policies and Procedures Committee
The Undergraduate Student Academic Policies and Procedures Committee reviews current University standards, rules and procedures governing undergraduate education and makes recommendations to strengthen and simplify these standards, rules and procedures.  The committee brings together representatives from several vice presidential areas and is often asked to provide recommendations on policies and procedures, especially as they relate to undergraduate students.
