Healthy Relationships Screening Events

In an effort to raise college student awareness about healthy intimate relationships, the HEARTS program is pleased to offer a RATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP! screening event.  During the event, participants volunteer to complete a 5 minute questionnaire about a current or past intimate relationship.  Each student who completes the questionnaire meets with one of our trained Masters level or Doctoral level Counseling students to hear the interpreted results.  The RATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP quiz is free and confidential.

As part of the screening event, we also provide literature and resources on healthy relationships and inform participants what to do if they are in an unhealthy relationship or if they have a concern about someone else who may be in an unhealthy relationship.

Our HEARTS team facilitators are excited to offer this screening event to any team, residence hall, sorority, fraternity, or student club.  We schedule events to last 60 or 90 minutes, depending on the request.  In that time we can accommodate 50- 60 students since it generally just takes about 5-7 minutes total for an individual to complete the entire screening process.

If you are interested in scheduling a RATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP! event today, please contact Katherine M. Bender, Counseling Doctoral Student, at kbender@odu.edu.
