Composing Presentations

Purpose

Using slideware programs can be an effective means of delivering information to one's audience (especially a large one) or stylistically enhancing one's oral message. These programs can also create a deadly experience for the audience if they are not done well. In today's class, we will discuss some strategies for composing more effective slideware presentations.

Presentation–Effective Slideware Presentations

The instructor will present Effective Slideware Presentations.

After the presentation, students will have the opportunity to ask how to certain elements in PowerPoint.

Workshop–Project Group Work

Use the rest of the session to meet with your group and pose questions to the instructor.
