Old Dominion University and the Department of Communication and Theatre Arts are honored to be among the earliest departments in the United States to sponsor a chapter of Lambda Pi Eta (we were the 9th) of what are now hundreds of Communication Departments coast to coast. This was our 20th year!
To qualify for acceptance into Lambda Pi Eta, the national communication honor society, students must meet all of the following criteria at the time of application:
- Have completed more than 60 hours of credit
- Completed at least 12 hours (4 courses) of Communication (COMM) classes at Old Dominion University
- 3.00 cumulative GPA
- 3.25 GPA in all Communication (COMM) Courses taken at Old Dominion University
