Conferences

Purpose

Conferences give you an opportunity to get one-on-one attention from your instructor, serving as an informed audience.

Before the Conferences

• Revise your Proposal based upon the feedback your peer has given you
• Print a clean draft to bring to the conference

The Conference

• Meet the instructor at BAL 4042 at the time list below. Missing your conference will result in an absence
• The instructor will read through your proposal with you. Be an active reader and correct anything that you think needs to be corrected that the instructor reads
• The instructor will get as far as he can in fifteen minutes
• In the last five minutes, he will suggest some further strategies for revising the paper. Take notes on these suggestions

After the Conferences

• Use these notes to decide how you will revise your paper
